Jetbird | Pilot Standards and Regulations

For the safety and assurance of our passengers, every Jetbird flight will have two commercially trained pilots on board. We exact the highest standards in our recruitment process. All Jetbird crew will be fully licensed under JAR-FCL (Joint Aviation Regulation – Flight Crew Licensing) regulations and in addition to this internal requirements will be applied by Jetbird’s Operations Department.  All training will be carried out at the top-of-the-range Canadian Aviation Electronics (CAE) facilities at Burgess Hill in London where the ECTS and Part-147 approved training facility is based and the fully functional Phenom 100 simulator also sits there.  We have a rigorous and continuous training and recurrence programme on the Phenom 100 to ensure that our pilots comply with our high and exacting standards. All Jetbird pilots are required to complete an integrated Type Rating programme which is EASA approved.
