Jetbird | Climate Initiative
At Jetbird, we fully embrace our Climate Initiative and are taking the necessary steps to be the industry leader and fly green. Our target is to be 100% carbon neutral and, for this purpose, have engaged in open discussion with environmental groups. In all areas of our operation, we will work to minimise our environmental impact. This will be achieved through the following:
- Flying point-to-point by-passing heavily congested hubs
- Operating fuel efficient aircraft with on-board, aircraft systems health monitoring equipment
- Investing in carbon offset projects locally in Europe; and
- Cutting carbon emissions caused by our business activities by setting monthly targets to monitor and reduce the effect on the environment
Ultimately, this is not a long-term programme to cut emissions. This is 'now'.
