Zurich is the largest city in Switzerland Zurich is on Lake Zurich, where the lake meets the Limmat River, in the north of Switzerland.

Zurich is the financial center of Switzerland, it houses the stock exchange and the headquarters of a large number of national and international companies, a city close to tourist resorts in the Swiss Alps with beautiful mountainous scenery for skiing and hiking, it often gets referred to as the "portal to the alps".

There are many interesting things to do in Zurich such as is take a trip on the Zürichsee with one of the two old steam ships, take in the views of Uetliberg hill which overlooks Zurich, visit the Schauspielhaus theatre or Opernhaus with world famous operas.

Zurich has a lot of places to go out. There are a lot of clubs, restaurants, cafés, bars and had more clubs than any other city in Europe.

Main attractions are in the old town around the river and lakefront such as Landesmuseum, the biggest Swiss history museum, Langstrasse, Red light district of the city, Lake Promenade, the Chinese Garden, Le Corbusier House and the Jacob Coffee Museum. The best place for shopping is Bahnhofstrasse where once can buy luxury and bargain products.
