Jetbird | Embraer Phenom 100 Aircraft
A new class of business aircraft, known as Very Light Jets (VLJs), has been developed and are radically changing the private aviation market as we know it. Utilizing new technology, private jets are now being built at a fraction of their former cost and with that can operate at significantly lower operating costs. Reduced capital and operating cost means that these new aircraft will make private aviation increasingly affordable for the mass affluent and many corporations. This will lead to a paradigm shift in air travel to that caused by the low-cost commercial airline revolution, which has led to an explosion in commercial passenger numbers since the mid-1990s.
On launch in Autumn 2009, Jetbird will fly a fleet of identical, new generation Embraer Phenom 100 aircraft. The Embraer Phenom 100 is, without doubt, the best aircraft in its class.
